GMAT SC中比较结构有什么需要注意的？

比较结构其实是我们备考GMAT句子改错（SC）的时候会经常遇到的一个知识点，广州申友GMAT小U就见过不少同学在备考群中问过这一类型题目，于是特意请了Sofia老师来给大家解答。

其实，在GMAT考试的备考中，遇到比较结构的知识点时，思考方向主要有以下这几种：

一、思考方向

(1). 相同部分省略仅留下比较的变量；

(2). as、than前后比较结构一致(be结构；do结构；there be结构；主动对主动，被动对被动等);

例如：I have more books than he (does可省).√(变量是人)

The books of mine are more than those of him.√(变量是书)

I have more books than those of him.×(前面变量是人，后面变量是书)

Several industry analysts expect automakers, in order to conserve cash, to be more conservative than they have been in setting dividends.(相同的主语可以用代词替代，be结构对应be结构，变量是时间，expect将来，have been过去到现在一直以来，比较的是在设置股息方面的保守程度的不同)

Employment costs rose 2.8 percent in the 12 months that ended in September, slightly less than they did in the year that ended in the previous quarter. (相同的主语可以用代词替代, 相同的谓语动词由助动词充当；rise不及物动词，2.8percent这里为副词，less为副词，表示动作的程度更弱，在这里表示上升的幅度更小，变量是时间，比较的是不同的时间段，就业成本上升的幅度。)

Traffic safety officials predict that drivers will be as likely to exceed the proposed speed limit as they are (likely to exceed相同部分省略) the current one . (相同的主语可以用代词替代，比较的是司机超过拟定的限速和超过现在限速的可能性，这两种可能性是一样的。)

（3）. 助动词省略不优选;

例：Mary has known Amy better than Tom.

这里than后面的句子未补出助动词has，则有两种意思：

Mary has known Amy better than Tom (has known Amy)

Mary has known Amy better than (Mary has known)Tom

没有歧义的情况助动词可以省略，如果没有助动词会有歧义的话，那么助动词就一定要补齐。

(4). 倍数表示法;

1. 主语+谓语+倍数（或分数）+ as + adj. + as。例如

I have three times as many as you. 我有你三倍那么多。

2. 主语+谓语+倍数（分数）+ the size （amount，length…） of…。例如：

The earth is 49 times the size of the moon. 地球是月球的49倍。

3. 主语+谓语+倍数（分数）+ 形容词（副词）比较级+ than…。例如：
